@theboutique1 -- Because this Version of Les Miserables debuted at the Barbican Theatre in London and Gavoroche is always played by and east ender (COCKNEY) boy soprano because that accent is associated with Poverty, slums and below working class/unemployed people. The Downtrodden of London. The extremely BLUE COLLAR. So you have absolutely no clue about the history of this musical, nor a trained ear if you couldn't tell he was singing in a cockney accent which is tradition.
