We hear and have always heard news of such torture since the pre Internet 80's so I wasn't surprised.

As for the amnesty it's a joke.. They simply have no more space to jail people so they want some who spent tens of years out so they can bring in 'new blood'.

I fear also they want some murderers and criminals out to feed their supply of 'shabiha': armed militia to do even more killings.

The regime should ask for amnesty from the people not the other way around.

Honestly the pictures you see on CNN are very MILD snapshots from what I saw. What you saw is daily news since 2+ months. What is different is They CUT HIS PENIS. I was very shocked to see it. I cried a lot and I still cry when I remember the scene.

On top of that there are cigarette burns on his body. They shot him in a systematic way in 3 places. His feet I don't what they did but they looked very wrong. Signs of torture everywhere.
