  • The time stamp is annoying on this camera, for one you can't shut it off, second setting the time is almost impossible and I believe it resets every time you power it off.

  • how could i get a live feed from this camera? would i have to install a small terminal or antenna to the body of my plane to get a live feed?

  • I had a camera like this, not from you guys though. The SD card would kept popping out, the light indicating whether it's recording is difficult to see, for some reason it only records properly about half the time, resulting in some of my best flights not being recorded. >:( Also, the date thing pisses me off, however when I export into Imovie, the date stamp doesn't export. Also the clip mount broke and the skin ripped the first time I used them. The camera records very high quality though.

  • Its a repackaged keychain "spy" camera ($10 to $15) on eBay. I use the keychain camera all the time on my flights. For both the keychain camera and this camera, use a "Jelly Lens" wide angle adapter for better footage.

The timestamp is annoying and I wish it could be disabled but sadly no.

  • videoguy837 actually HobbyKing now carries a keychain cam so I see no reason why they would repackage it into this camera. Will do a review on the keychain cam as soon as they get back in stock.

  • Great review yet again Frank and i've got to say Hobby King are really looking after you boys, what with the new shirts and all ;-) what about doing a monthly comp for this channel and you could say give the review item as the prize, that would get the numbers up even more ;-) just a silly idea as you must have loads on your plate as it is;-) thumbs up.

  • Thanks startazz! And yes, HobbyKing has been great with us! Both Paul and I have been very busy lately with lots of new stuff to play around with. More reviews coming soon.

  • we don't need/want timestamps

  • hey frank since i cant film many vids since i dont have a cameras dude this would be great infact its so great i have just ordered one lol. with your link, thanks man awesome review.

  • Cool Mikey! I think you will really like this camera. Looking forward to seeing the videos

  • he said boats ! Is this thing water proof ?

  • davidnieuwland the camera isn't waterproof but I did manage to get it stuck in a tree just before doing the review and couldn't get it back down till five days later. It rained for three of the five days but the camera was still fine after I retrieved it. So I guess it is somewhat water resistant, lol!

  • @HobbykingLive : Thx for your reply, appreciate it.

  • #+LOL

  • Are there clear instructions (that make sense) on how to remove the time stamp..??..If so, I'm buyin! Great footage! Killer vid quality...I think I saw a UFO a couple times there! lol What was that..??..a hot air balloon?

  • TheLipRipp3r there are nio instructions that i have found anywhwre on the internet or HobbyKings web site on how to remove the timestamp. The UFOs in the video were a group of paragliders. There club was at the airport having some fun.

  • @HobbykingLive

Thanks for checkin in to it for me...much appreciation!

  • timestamp is persistent

  • felarfurlong you've got that right. Nothing i have tried will get rid of it.

  • How do you take off the timestamp?

  • metallover3 sorry I have tried to find a way to remove the timestamp but haven't had any success.
