@Reichiruu I thought it was an Elco Torpedo Boat. Info on PT 103 class seems difficult to find, but for the sake of argument, were PT 103 still in use in Vietnam as river patrols?
Black Lagoon's PT boat had a setup of 4 torpedoes, not 2.
49,6 knots is best we have on the GPS so far. It was October last year and we where 24 people onboard if I remember right. The weight trimming was not optimaized so I gues we do over 50 if we want. We can easily do 47 for many ours countinuously. Max rpm is 2070 and 2030 is max for 8 hours countinius speed. Idle speed on all three is 21 knots. She works exelent and the acceleration time up to 45 knots is about 10 sec.
The comments is about T56 but I gues that T38 have about the same speed potential. T56 have diesel engines thats can take out power better under long time.
T38 can do max speed only under a short moment to be shure not damage the engines.
