AWESOME. Sanborn is an upgrade from the guy who played on the album or was on the show from Shea. Sanborn really adds to this greatly. Great song and Billy looks like he is enjoying himself.

Jay-Z's Empire State of Mind sounds nothing like this. It's not a cover. As far as I know, Jay-Z's song is titled as a response to Nas' song NY State of Mind on his debut album, Illmatic. Jay-Z and Nas had a feud with each other for several years, so I think the relation is between those songs and not this one. As for Nas' song, it also soungs nothing like the Billy Joel New York State of Mind - they're simply both songs about the city that they love.

Hmm, this isn't the best version of New York STate of mind, the sax is too loud and the piano is way too soft and muffled. I mean he can do this song well, this just isn't a good version hence all the bad comments. If this were a better version I'm sure the response would be much better.
