not sure what you made the smoke one out of, but if you used kno2 and sugar, you put too much kno2, cause it had alot of thrust in the beggining, more sugar less kno2 = more smoke, more kno2 less sugar = thrust power.

next time try saltpeter (potassium Nitrate, easily bought by the pound at your local pharmacy) and sugar, melt together on LOW HEAT until brown and the consistency of sticky toothpaste, then scoop into a container (preferably one u dont plan on re-using as it will get melted, even aluminum) add a fuse while its still mushy, then let dry. best smoke bomb EVER. BUT BURNS VERY VERY HOT!!!
