  • If you want students to like science, change the student loan laws. Americans do not get science degrees in college because it WAY TOO FINANCIALLY RISKY under the student loan laws that charge TEN TIMES the original loan amount in default penalties and interest and do not allow discharge in bankruptcy if you fail to make enough money as a scientist.
