God, last time I saw this movie I was 7 years old, and I BAWLED. If not just for the story, then for the DOG!! And revisiting it now, I cried even harder, cuz two years after I first watched it as a child, I got my first dog - a wonderful Golden Retriever who is now 12 years old - and I always think of her whenever I watch movies like this; I think of how much I love her and what a true blessing from God she has been!! <3
