  • interesting video, when did it snow?

  • My life every day of the winter months.

That's what I get for living in WNY.

  • yo how did you keep the camera going for so long in the same spot?

didnt you have to switch batteries at some point?

  • @bostonManifesto i shot at intervals only as short as 1 shot every 30sec and turned off lcd live view, post view and turned on battery saver. the times i let the battery charge are quite obvious, coz i couldnt keep the battery in without removing from the tripod. so watch the angle change. also, on the first night, i stopped for about 4 hours because the scene wasnt changing much, but i missed sunrise. this was my first attempt. check out my artscape video i did with a dslr and give me feedback

  • I was also using a Nikon, but s630 -- great pictures, lousy battery life. How was today for you? We only got about 10" here in Arlington, but I've seen the spotter reports for Baltimore. Absolutely nuts.

  • today has been crazy, winds about 40-50 mph. id say its been about 12 to 15 inches. it stops snowing for a little bit but the winds push the big piles everywhere back where we shovel.

  • i'm a fan of snow, and for the most part shovellin. but this has been quite trying. plows burying my car further each time they pass with slush. roar. thank you for the kind words, i liked your video a lot too.

  • god damn I wish we got snow like that here

  • Trust me you won't want your wish to come true ever.

By the way nice video.... I like the view more towards end, when you can see the entire community.

  • for a bit I would, nothing better than being 6ft in snow when the most you have ever seen in your home town is 9 inches
