I won't argue the condition of Bloke's toy but since it was free, it doesn't matter much as long as he can get some enjoyment out of it. As to the engine, on one of the videos they show the engine and the intake states it is a 4.2 L V6. Sounds like one as well.

I owned two that body style, a 2000 and a 2004 Heritage edition, both with V6s and 5 speeds.
