The scene would've been left in but of course, why do most scenes get chopped out on the cutting room floor? For time constraint reasons. Most studio films really don't wanna release movie that's more than 3 hours long unless the scene is vital to the storyline. Blah. I think it's bullshit but hey, what can you do right?

This scene really bums me out. I like that it got deleted. It was nice to think that Becky met a great, understanding guy, and just married out of the business. Plus, adding this one scene would have intro'd a new plot? Did Becky kill her husband and just disappear or what? I guess we'll never know. BTW, I just figured that Dirk's car was messed up later in the actual movie as a symbol of how he and everything he loved wes falling apart. It was great symbolism.

Somewhere during his drugged out downfall(after he gets fired by Jack and trying to get a record deal), before the drug deal gone bad scene. My guess, by the dialouge, is that it would have been either after or right before they threatened the music exec to give Dirk his tapes.
