this is AWESOME, how long did it take for you to model it?
137bff 1 year ago
@137bff Around 25-30 hours, including taking screenshots for an extensive tutorial that I wrote on modeling it.
That looks very nice, wich renderer are you using ?

@eve031084 In an earlier comment I said it was VRay, but I opened the file a short while ago and saw it was actually rendered with Brazil, which I don't use anymore nowadays.

how do you make models tur when rendered?
omegadavid99 2 years ago
@omegadavid99 I rotated the camera around the car, using a path constraint on a circle.
in total about how many hours did this take you? and did you use a blueprint?

@xvst VRay
Hey! Nice work. What did you use to model this? I want something similar so I can start to test different graphics ideas fro my E30.
grvmkr 2 years ago
I modeled it in 3Ds Max 2009 using polymodeling.
Rear lamps are ugly shoulda went with differnt llooking ones and that spoiler has to go .. even Gt Touring models dont have spoilers that big.. lol

All the BMW GTR's have big ass spoilers, that's why this one has them too.
And the rear lights... that's what they look like on an E30: complain with the designer of the car. ;)
So you made this ?
Yes, I thought of this version/concept of the E30 and modeled it.
Rear lamps are ugly, all else fine :D
