Herman Li is good, ppl need to stop bagging on him. Dragonforce has written some mind blowing studio work and they've gotten a lot better live. I think their early sloppiness was just due to the fact that they weren't ready to be doing big venues and that they tried to party it up to much before shows. Great artist, except Herma Li. He is maybe fast but marty is much faster as seen on rock fujiyama. And even better then that he got style:). Better replace Herman with Chris Broderick.
I think he's got a lot of raw talent and great potential, but he needs to develop more of a unique style rather than blisteringly fast yet generic shred.
Due to Guitar Hero III, DragonForce was thrust into fame basically overnight, and I think if they had to build up their fame over time, they could have developed their style better.

Pual's sense of melody is damn near unrivaled. even among these guys, they all SOUND like theyre improvising, which is not a bad thing becuz they all improv so well, but Pauls improv sounds like some quality studio shit man! It doesnt not sound improv but as if he wrote that shit out himself

I personally actually enjoyed the music that was played on that stage. I really don't see why there is soo much hate for Herman Li. He's a phenomenal guitarist, as well as all the other who shared the stage alongside him. Just sit back and enjoy the music for crying out loud!

Okay im not a Herman fan but back the fuck of okay, he's up there jamming and having a good time, he even said after the jam in an online interview for NAMM he felt consious about solo'ing because of how people would react to him, he was just playing the same scales as satch god, get a life instead of hating on him.
