  • Thanks for all the great comments! Glad everyone is enjoying the video. :)

  • i love seeing little red wagon and paddy wagon go head to head at Raceway Park :)

  • Oh my F#*%ing God Thats cool as HELL!! That car did a wheelie for like a 1/4 mile man!!?

    I want one

  • It looked like it could have kept going too. :)

  • Great video, thanks for posting it! I've got a picture standing by it at us30 dragstrip in Indiana in 1974. Gary Watson owned it then. Bob Hall pulls it out when airborne express isn't running. It's in sad shape now. Do you remember, "No Big Thing", a 1960 Vespa with a 327?

  • Sorry, don't remember that. I've only started going to drag races since I started riding motorcycles 11 years ago. Don't get to go near enough! :)

  • Thanks for posting it. It good to see that old wheelstander is still out there.

You can see by my profile why it's one of my favorites.

    Tim

  • Yep. You aren't the only one out there either. LOL!

  • When was this taken? I thought Bob Hall was just driving his Astro van Airborne express anymore. Good footage!

  • I'm not sure who was driving the van (my hearing isn't that great any more and I was too busy taking footage to write anything down. However, the video was definitely taken on September 7th. I had gone there to watch a friend race her dragster at "Geezer's at the Grove" and downloaded everything that evening when I got home.

Glad you enjoyed the footage! I'm learning more and more every time I try to take videos. Some day I'll remember to sit with the sun BEHIND me there!

    Jeanne :)
