The lower ranks of the military are mostly working class, agreed. But officers and above tend to be middle/ upper class and the military (UK, US or anywhere) as a whole is there to serve the agendas of the ruling elite who are above even governments.
How does this ruling elite class get soldiers to sacrifice their lives for their own selfish, greedy agendas?
Simple. They rewrite official history & fill our heads with H'wood movies where war is glamorized.

2. if u join the army then u hav signed up to sacrifice ur life for the greater good.
3. they do rewrite history. it is the historians who record history which then makes the base on which the army put their spin! and i think that u need to look at the other sides of the argument before asuming that ur opinion is right.

1. Yes but that 80% don't make the major decisions. That's done by the other 20% (or less) in higher ranks sitting behind a desk!
2. Don't get me wrong, I have respect for soldiers... but no respect for the elite who create/ manipulate war and send soldiers to kill each other. Did you know the same banks funded BOTH SIDES of WW2. Think about that (& watch the video in my previous comment).

Look there is documented proof that the same elite banking interests funded both sides of WW2 and profited massively from those wars (same is true of today's wars. Al Qaeda is a CIA creation. FACT!).
Hitler could not have posed any threat to the west without this funding. My 'spin' on these (and many more) facts is that the banking elite fund and provoke conflict situations for their own self serving agendas.

I know someone who was at Belson (concentration camp). He still has nightmares EVERY NIGHT about it. Children locked up naked and starving and covered in their own excrement, with the dead bodies of other children all around them...screaming in fear when they were eventually rescued because they thought they were going to be raped again.

I just think there is a difference between using humour to explore a serious and important subjects (and often expose a truth we hadn't seen before), vs being dumbed down by idiotic jokes about the countries which our taxes are being used to destroy.
