ive never been there.The only theme parks i have been to are Cedar Point and Michigan`s Adventure and it looks like it would be very very cool to go to New Jersey and go to Six Flags Magic Mountain and ride Superman Escape from Krypton because that looks like it would be a very very fun ride to ride there.

I rode the original when it opened in 1997 but I don't think I've been back since. It quickly became my favorite roller coaster ride of all time, though. It's probably the cheapest way for the general public to experience zero-G.

What changed in the Krypton revamping? I can see that they turned the cars around; anything else?

@markysharky17 I think it closed down. I was at mm last weekend for fright fest and I rode Deja Vu. Supposedly, last weekend was going to be the final weekend. It was my first time ever at mm too and some of those coasters are pretty extreme. This Superman one was my favorite out of all the coasters I was able to get to. It was extremely croweded for fright fest and the waits for mazes were never less than an hour. I never got a chance to ride X2 :(

@markysharky17 well the structure itself is still there, but it won't be for long. i went yesterday and an employee told me that they removed the train and from the looks of it they are already disassembling it because they have cranes surrounding it. but on the plus side if you ever want to ride it you can go to six flags new england to ride it because that's where they are sending it too :)

@theknexrock well a couple of visits back like right before i was gonna get on deja vu got stuck and kept the riders dangling. and i guess it cost a lot of money to keep it maintained and also they are planning to do more big things next year because they are also taking out log jammer so that they could possibly put a new coaster there. it's mostly all about opening space for new rides right now.

Lolololololol I rode on this yesterday and it was okay. The line went super slow because of all people with flash passes. I still thought it was worth the wait. Btw the new green lantern ride is crap. I waited 2 hours to ride because it broke down, and also it was very short and maybe only lasted 45 sec.

Why does sfmm keep copying dreamworld in Australia??? We have the exact same ride here at dreamworld called tower of terror that launched 2 months earlier than this ride. We then updated it so that the car ran backward. We launched that in September 2010 & now sfmm copies us YET AGAIN and does the exact same thing.

okay so they copied a brilliant idea. Beats the hell out of flying to Australia to experience a great thing. I'm guessing Dreamworld doesn't have exclusive rights to the coaster design. This is probably why we see duplicate coasters ALL OVER THE WORLD.

The thing that annoys me the most is that they did it in such a short time span. 2 months after us for the original & then 6 months after us for the upgrade. They couldn't have made it any more obvious that they copied us. if they did it a couple years after us then it wouldn't annoy me. idk why im so annoyed but i just am.

You don't really have time to hear the noice when your on it.....it's so fast and quick and once youhit the "L: Shaped Super structure going backwards it feels like you're going to come right off the track, that feeling alone is unlike any other ride at Six Flags...I still think it's the most intense ride there....if this ride was faster or higher I think people will pass out due to the g-force...no joke!!

This Ride at Six flags magic mountain isnt new (known formerly as Superman the escape) which went frontwards then back wards...they repainted the track and the cars and switched directions thats all...almost like Deja Vu at over here

It sure is PJayDavis, I was the first besides the workers to test it (Feb 19th )Rehearsals), and my little daughter who's only 9 wanted to get on just so that I would let her get on Goliath with me...she said after that she will never get on it again due to the sensation...and you want to hear something funny, after that ride we got on Goliath like 6 times without feeling the first drop on it..LOL that's how intense you feel it...believe if you're not prepare for it don't get on :)

@Spheremaster0001 It's special for a few reasons. 1. It's backwards. Any ride that is backwards is automatically special. 2. It's the tallest ride in SFMM 3. Actually hits the top now (updated LIM/hydraulics?) 4. It's Superman-themed, arguably one of the most important Marvel superheroes of all time.
