It's the official game relating to the movie.
I think it's called Lemony Snicket's a Series of Unfortunate events.
But seeing as this was so long (in computer game time), I'm uncertain if a copy of the game can still be obtained.

This sequence occurs shortly after the first reptile capture task in the Uncle Monty part of the game.
I played the pc version.

I have a video accelerater card with video out. With a sound cable from my sound card, I connected both to my VCR. Then it's simply a case of recording the video and then capturing with a Pinnacle Studio capture system.
