@bigl240 I just thought they did that to show her annoyance as a young and excitable child. You know always in your face. Well you learn something new everyday, sorta makes sence now.

Hold on, hold on. You're saying Emily Ketch died of starvation? No fucking way! I never knew that!. I do recall when Rio says she "shouted and screamed herself hoarse", but never knew she died of starvation. So when you met "Emily", that's actually a ghost?

cool death, but the only thing i'm curious about is can a spider really jump that high and why didn't the spider just attack him after the second stomp

if it was real life.. the spider wouldent have attacked him... They dont attack Humans unless provoked

I doubt that there are any further deaths.Tony Warriner,programmer of the game,said that they added this death the final day before the game went "gold".But I'll be searching don't worry ;)

In my opinion the best death in Broken Sword 1 was the Bull's Head conversation with Khan and on top of the train.Man I had some laughs with those!

Indeed,killed by a spider is scary,but not as scary as being locked inside a treasure chest and killed by starvation ;).Emily Ketch died that way in the game.You find her later in the game.

Nope.I was curious about it and even asked one of the game's designers.He confirmed that she had died of starvation,because she was locked in the chest.And that's why Rio always refers to her using the past tense.Check it out!At some point when you're talking to her she even fades for like a second!
