  • NYC still does NOT have a country radio station...Yeah the Urban audience was a huge factor!

  • askjimmycarter,country music was exploding through the roof at this stage in the early 90's so I don't believe NBC pulled it on account of an "urban" audience.

  • poor guy he had a stroke and sounds different now and i feel bad for him and dick clark will go down in history

  • I do remember watching several Hot Country Nights episodes in 1992.I though tit was a great format and was much needed on a broadcast network out side of Nashville,I thought.
