yes i have spoken to many musicians. I was in the industry for many years and I do understand that many are well educated but most are also just people who never have had to deal with the real world and holding them up on an intellectual pedestal is rediculous. They are mostly people who have not yet outgrown their teenage dreams of getting attention and being stars. I find very little in what they say to have any substance. They are mostly just attention seekers.

In the past I worked on guitars for rock musicians but I got sick of the "teenager " mentality, even with grown adults whom had experienced success . I do understand what you are saying though , and there is truth to it, there are many very intelligent and well educated musicians out there. Perhaps Im being too harsh and negative after many years of having to deal with their " artistic querks" and moodiness. Some musicians tend to get big heads because they get so much attention for their talent

The book of Enoch blew My mind ! Makes me wonder why the Catholic church didn't allow this book in the bible.
