Philo Farnsworth was an American engineer born in 1906 who researched television picture transmission. He developed the dissector tube, which is the basis of all current electronic televisions. In 1927, Philo Farnsworth became the first inventor to transmit a television image. Everyone else QUIT LYING!! RCA STOLE the idea from him. Paul Schatzkin (see 03:57 in this video) wrote a book which has the title "The Boy Who Invented Television" and names Farnsworth as that boy.

Isn't that ridiculous? All Farnsworth did was better the original ideas that were in places since he was 3 years old. Hardly his "invention".
