@Basstard22 Thanks! You're right. I bought this bass in '95, but it's called the Yamaha TRB6p. I think the "p" stands for the pizzo pickup in the bridge. I disabled it when I installed the Bart pickups and preamp.

@Basstard22 Quite a few I've collected actually: '82 G&L 4 string An 80's Ibanez Roadstar II 4 string Washburn 6 string, defretted, and modified like crazy. Lovingly referred to as the "Frankenbass" haha Yamaha TRB6 6 string Tobias classic 5 string Pedulla MPV 5 string Michael Kelley acoustic frettless 5 string A no-name, full-scale upright Not all of them are high-end basses, but I have found that I can't get rid of ANY of them. haha too much sentimental value.

I just love 6 string basses, and in my opion, the TRB is about the most beautiful design I ever saw! But non the less : Having such great (old) basses is fantastic.
