I was very impressed when you delt four aces to yourself, but i DID NOT see that color change comming! NICE! 5/5 one more thing, you say youve bought his dvd or something? and some of them are "performance only"? whys that?
Thank you for your nice words mate,and i m really glad you liked the vid!Yes,in some dvds by Darwin,he includes a few tricks for which he doesnt give the explanation...i dont know why,i suppose he didnt want to reveal them at the time,or he was saving the explanations for his books :P (some of these performance only tricks are explained in his books)...anyway... :))
interesting. thats very strange. Darwin Ortiz must be a maser at teasing :P. but once again, the handling was brilliant, and the ending was unexpected. I'd like to see some more from you. oh, and "subscribed" (;
My favourite effect ever!!! Must admit tho' that when I perform it, I do away with the colour change as I always thought that it takes it from a Gambling effect to a magic effect. My opinion only off course. Do you perform "Grand Slam"?? Let me know. Excellent performance by the way.
Thank you very much mate,i m really glad you enjoyed it!I must say i cant remember Grand Slam...could you give me a hint...?
By the way,about the color change,what i have noticed from my performances is that with the color changing finale people lean towards a "its been there the whole time and he didnt let us see it" reaction,rather than thinking that the deck magically changed color!And this just strengthens the idea that you can do anything with a deck of cards!I think you should consider it!
I am not a neophyte, but well done perfect faros and math were my guess. I read Ortiz talk about the legend of this deal, but not in a context of face up cards. Am I right at all, indulge another cartomancer. I am an English teacher and kids love this stuff
Actually, it's not the same effect. Marlo's trick and Ortiz's one share only the face up/face down shuffle and the dealing sequence (and the methods are slightly different, too). The kicker ending belongs to Ortiz's trick only.
Glad you liked them mate!I ve got two more routines I recently created which will be the next to be uploaded,some more Darwin tricks as well,and some other stuff that i want to upload too.The problem is that i dont have much time these days,but everything will be uploaded sooner or later :P :P

very nice manipulation, Ricky Jay does something similar; it's called "alaskan poker." excellent manipulation nonetheless

I really like this effect. Your handling was pretty good, but could still use some work. Mainly the shuffles. Keep it up!
