@chasingamy77 You're right. The character I meant was Alyssa. You'r right about Amy. She is never shown in the movie and the only time Silent Bob speaks is when he gives his soliloquy about her.
Kind of weird to hear this song on AOR in 1995. Definitely more of a modern rock track than it is AOR. This does not mean that I dislike it though. Better than any of that techno dance crap (Ace of Base, Black Box, C&C Music Factory, etc.) that came out in the 90's.
@relyt192 Without drugs, the greatest music of the '90s wouldn't have happened. The music scene reinforced drug addiction. It was amazing. I would take this over whipping my hair or kissing a girl and liking it or listening to Taylor Swift whine any day. The '90s were beautiful and dark.
@Mythezza Wow listen to you Your some kind of music expert . So all good music from the 90s would not of been possible without drugs ??? GTF Outta here man
@Mythezza don't be a douche. there was bad music in the 90's, and good music today; sober christian rockers in the 90's, as well as heroine drenched rock stars around today.
i liked the soundtrack - pretty good for its day. still sounds good if you ask me. You might like "Burning Paper" by Folk Implosion if you like this track. Not as upbeat, but the beats are there.
@fetisov02 it is the only good song on the soundtrack- but it wasn't even used in the movie- have tried to find a video for it with no luck- don't think its on any of Folk Implosion"s other albums either- cool dance song though - first heard it in a gay bar...
@AustinLuck78 i just cant read your comment without saying something. Kids had a very dense plot. you need to watch it more than once, but it had more of a relevant plot and message than almost any other movie ive seen and i am very into film history. Really if you see this comment watch the movie again any try to really read into everything thats going on, because there is so much that goes unnoticed in KIDS . once you notice this youl realize how smart and precise it is.
i can't believe you can't get anything but a crappy karaoke version of this song anymore! i'd been looking for it for years (but didn't wanna buy a whole album just for one song)--and its been so long since i've heard it. i just love this song like crazy--thanks for posting it, i've wanted to hear it again so badly!!!
@Psychogreengirl the rest of the album is awesome, especially the rest of the Folk implosion songs. also, about half the songs were left out of the actual soundtrack. Almost all the hiphop from Kids was excluded from the soundtrack.
@Psychogreengirl U should look at Album "Trackspotting" it has alot of hard to find songs from different movie soundtrack awsome collection just bought it from Amazon for $1.50 2 cds iit has this song also
@imortality1995 Being 15 at that time(1995) It was nothing special. But then again if I had a choice to be 15 now or back then then shove me in a time machine.
I was 20 going on 21 in 1995...good times.

@chasingamy77 I'm sure. I love the banter between Banky and Amy.

@thenameisbond I thought Amy was the (never introduced) love interest of silent Bob. I can't remember the girls name you're thinking of :)

@fetisov02 It had no plot but it wasn't all that bad. It was based on the lives of the director's friends.
