yes their is something wrong with being big. If youre big, youre probably unhealthy, eat bad food and dont exercise. I can see if youre big but you run every week and eat right, but the reality is, thats not the truth.

It's nothing wrong with being a little bit over-weight, but being obese, or morbidly obese, thats a different story. A lot of people die every year from Heart Attacks because of clogged artery's, or from Diabetes. Losing weight anit easy. And I know, because I'm trying to do that now. I work on a Pediatric ICU unit. Last month we lost a 16 yr old to a heart attack. The reason was beacause she starved herself to death or rather her organs shut down. The starvation and emesis destroyed her organs. Atleast once a week there is a pt we try to stabilize before treatment will except them. The number of male pts is increasing. These are children so afraid that the world will see them as ugly they would rather die then eat.
and then we have people who would rather EAT whatever they want than live healthy. either extreme is bad. people need to love themselves and stop being told what's hot and what's not and DO U. keeping yourself healthy is the best way to love yourself no matter what size you are. and keep watching B. I found this video very inspiring. I'm a 15 year old & sometimes I feel that I'm not good enough for the people I hang out with because of my weight. But what you said about holding my head up high & as long as I'm healthy. I really apprecitate it. I'm a size 13 & i'm porud of that.

Sarahbinney--your comment was very hypocritical. You dont want people making assumptions about you, but you ASSUME all big people eat unhealthy and dont exercise. I know small people who have health problems, dont exercise, and have unhealthy lifestyles, as well as, larger people.

yes their is something wrong with being big. If youre big, youre probably unhealthy, eat bad food and dont exercise. I can see if youre big but you run every week and eat right, but the reality is, thats not the truth.
and i wear a size 3 and i do not STARVE myself and i dont exercise everyday or eat super healthy but ppl should stop making those assumptions.

Ladies, be real with yourselves. Self pride is great but having pride in being fat is idiotic. God didn't make us to be fat, gluttony is one of seven deadly sins. I am a black girl myself, and I'm just tired of the stereotypical fat black woman, aren't you? Sarahbinney,- the stereotype about The big girls always eating is false. I use to be a big gurl back in h.s and when you grow up on fried catfish,chicken,ribs,soda and Kool-aid that's what happens. It's not that all big people eat a lot it's what they eat because I know people who sit down and eat a whole damn pizza. When I lost my weight,I still had a big ass and I am a naturally thick girl even at 130 pounds. There are so many skinny people who eat their ass off

It's nothing wrong with being a little bit over-weight, but being obese, or morbidly obese, thats a different story. A lot of people die every year from Heart Attacks because of clogged artery's, or from Diabetes. Losing weight anit easy. And I know, because I'm trying to do that now. Or at least im trying to make a effort. With me, its exercising, not so much the food part. I say all this to say that "im a big girl, so what" mentality needs to change. But I agree you should'nt be judged either.

I work on a Pediatric ICU unit. Last month we lost a 16 yr old to a heart attack. The reason was beacause she starved herself to death or rather her organs shut down. The starvation and emesis destroyed her organs. Atleast once a week there is a pt we try to stabilize before treatment will except them. The number of male pts is increasing. These are children so afraid that the world will see them as ugly they would rather die then eat.
