The insurance companies want money for them and investors and will wrong as many people as possible that fil claims. I wouldn't feel good as an investor knowing that they have to cheat people for the sake of profit.
Another thing I have learned working in the insurance field is that people are never happy especially when they are all sue happy. Secondly If you buy insurance buy from a Insurance AGENT. If you go direct these things are more likely to happen If you HAVE an agent they usually know people on the inside to help get your claim settled.

If you were paying for a low budget crap policy its your fault. You probably were not protecting yourself with a good insurance policy. You didnt even mention what caused the accident and who was at fault.and why is it the CEO"S fault? they dont handel claims themselves?? thats ludacris.
Rear ended and broke the metal bracket supporting my head rest. Neck injury sustained. Agent justified $100 settlement offer based on low damage to the car.

If you want a good example of how progressive treats their clients look at my you tube profile. I am still unable to do much and progressive has avoided paying a dime for lost income. I have lost my apartment, can't pay my bills. I am a homeless veteran, DO NOT USE PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE!!!
I am glad I found this post while shopping around for car insurance. So far Geico is out, Met is out, Progressive is deffinately out!! I think I am going to go with USAA. Fair rates and nice coverage.

Progressive allegedly thinks that those who have been injured in automobile accidents, don't deserve to live.
MetLife is sending me to "collections" for $58 charged 11/21/08 to a toyota solara policy...11/21/08 I no longer owned the toyota...I traded it in & had a new policy for my new car...w/ MetLife

Progressive Corporate told me that DPTA doesn't apply to THEM. Not only do they ruin your life they BRAG about having the ability to do it. Meanwhile Glen Renwick is making all kinds of manipulations of his stock on the stockmarket OBVIOUSLY TO PROTECT HIS ASSETS gained by blood money from insured persons such as myself.

While my son and I was in pain, and I was trying to figure out how to get gas money and meds to visit doctors for an accident I didn't cause, the big CEO's there were probably trying to figure out where to spend the next 10 million. Bills are going to collections, and I couldn't even finish pt. Progressive-you should put yourself in our position!
these guys sound like real douche bags, I hate Progressive, I have a perfect driving recond and they wanted to charge me $348 a month for motorcycle insurance (and that was the cheapest other than liability) progressive sucks!
Progressive Insurance DOES SUCK!!! I've had them about 25 years, and yet when a woman hits me where I am stopped (she was talking on the phone and looking off to the side even - I watched her approach and slam into me), they paid her and upped my rates because it was more profitable. They didn't even tell me they did it - I got to find out a year after I'd been paying them. Note well the cop on scene said the driver would have been charged if not on a private lot, so she couldn't charge anyone.
I used to try not to file any small claim, til I got screwed by Pinnicol Workers comp insurance and AIG. Now, all hells gonna break loose, if I even buy there shitty insurance. Take it to these fuckers and investigate Ins co. Their P.I.s WILL be in the wrong place someday!

Its pretty scary to be in my situation and to realize that Progressive Executives consider your life as a human being to be worthless and that Progressive will let you suffer and die in order so that they can make ONE MORE PENNY OF PROFITS.
