Just take a duplicate image of the original and crop out the colored pieces you want and put it underneath the main layer so you get the lines on top of it to fit.

a better way to do shis is to do it in adobe illustrator, its more work but the result is PERFECT

I thought this would be an interesting tutorial involving Frank Millers drawing style, but altering the levels of an image dosnt makeu an artist. Frank's style isnt just about black and white, its about how the white and blacks interact, overlap, and still trick your eye into thinking something is there even though he didnt outline our clearly define it, its about your imagination filling in the blanks. Any normal person can alter a pre-exisiting photo, my point is that that isnt frank's style.
