  • i'm in th arts as a teen there were unscupolous photagraphers" As a young woman I sang and acted in plays-ran into a few "producers" the entertainment industry is indeed full if shisters and low lifes... thank god I

Had someone in my corner looking out for me...and a good head on my shoulders

  • Loomis= ugh, what a womanizer!

  • stave is so

hot that's a real man mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • That's M*A*S*H's Alan Alda's dad Robert Alda at 3:00, and that eye-rolling expression is a hoot!

  • corny and tired script ......

  • Steve is sooooo fine!!!

  • Good for Lora for standing up for herself. I like the scene between Steve and Annie and you can see at the end of this clip that Lora truly does depend on Annie for friendship and not just as a live-in nanny/housekeeper. No matter how it started out they loved and needed each other!!

  • Steve is the package deal!

  • Thank you for taking the time for us to view this wonderful film! You rock :)

  • who has extra mink coats sitting around in their closet? weirdo

  • There is no way in hell I would sleep with someone to get to the top. I used to be a back up singer ( for someone i wont mention ) he offered to help me get a record deal if I slept with him and then asked if he could kiss me. I told him " Hell No. " and I also said " if I'm gonna get a record deal it would be the right way and not whoring it up " I finished out my contract with him for the back up and after that I left and never looked back. What an ass he was. As if, I would be his whore

  • @BiracialGirl1977 -I agree, good job on ur part!

  • @BiracialGirl1977 -I agree, good job on ur part! what was portrayed N this movie is actually-SUTTLE RAPE-by trying 2 put a woman N a compremising circumstances with sex, in order 4 her 2 gain her success

  • @hjb103055 he's from mash right?

  • @mjjcng8958 Yes.

  • @mjjcng8958 That is Robert Alda. Alan Alda from M*A*S*H father.

  • @expos73 they look so much alike. i found out that allen was in the army and was stationed in korea after the korean war. so ironic that he ended up playing the part of a korean war soldier

  • this scene pretty much sums up how to get it made in showbiz. sad, sad, sad.

  • This lady looks like an older, white version of Beyonce.

  • @almtonmak Lmbo but I think you might have a point.

  • @almtonmak lmao she looks NOTHING like Beyonce

  • It's terrible the entertainment industry takes advantage of some women in this way.

  • Shoulda kept the coat. ;)

  • Wow, the things some white actress had to do in those days to get a gig. As iconic as Marilyn Monroe was in her hay days of her career, she was subjected to the same solicitation. Truly makes you think.

  • Steve Archer was so full of integrity. A trait seldom found these days.

  • Comment removed

  • damn he tried to turn her into a industry hoe.

  • ah to think they all r old and dust now :(

  • i love this movie :} my 7th period teacher showed my classmates and i :D

  • The real Lana did whatever it took....

  • @MerleOberon LOL that's right, according to the history books.

  • This is a great movie! Made in 1959 it was years ahead of it's time in dealing with issues like racism. A very fine film. I'm glad it's posted to Youtube!

  • i remember watching this when i was younger like 7-8 and thinking stupid girl but now it makes me cry

  • @shalayneG , as a young boy we went to the Rialto in Sinton , Tx. and saw this classic movie . The gilrs all cried at the last scene . We boys tried and acted like we had something in our eyes to try to hide the tears . Pure raw emotional movie that is a classic . It will always be enbedded in my mind . Semper Fidelis .

  • thank you so much for this a wonderful film ,.
