@GDD08 Assuming you updated the lock screen is secure now. To enable the lock screen Menu | Settings | Location & Security | Setup Lock Screen

ok so i downloaded themes and i see them in my winter board then i click them it does the process but i dont see anything happend it just goes back to my main screen... and i dont see android in my settings at the bottom...i hate this..

you could log into your google account to unlock

keep entering in the wrong password, then it will force u to log in using ur gmail account

@fargone93 this happend to my LG Dare. take to verizon store and they will unlock it. orr keep tryin to it says enter gmail login info.

This doesn't work on my Hero (14/02/2021) simply asks for pattern after pressing back. Don't know if this is due to a difference in Android version, or HTC's doing or a patch.

@Anearion616 really? that's one of the disadvantages of having Android with different versions in different phone styles with different screen size from different phone companies.

@Burn1ngSn0wMan Its actually a good feature, if someone steals the phone and doesn't know your number they wont be able to do that. If you forget you lock pattern you can do that and unlock it.
