you have to Preview the animation and it will become a ccrappy quality video is somewhere in the menu toolbar

if u wanna a good quality video then u have to render the animation and select continuos frames or something like that and select save then a format for the video

finally render all the frames (could take a while)

i appreciate the fact you made an effort at all to put a tutorial up for people to learn also, but hun you was going to fast, and i couldnt hardly hear what you was saying. if you are to make another tutorial please remember those 2 factors, and it also helps to have written down all the steps before filming that way you dont get lost yourself, because remember people are watching you while the vid is playing, so if you mess up it just flusters the viewer. ok ill hush up now. rofl. ^^

iF you did download 3dsMAX and not through bittorrent, it comes with [GASP] FREE VIDEOS - which show you most of the basics, although miss out on some parts. all you need to put in is email, normal info like phone etc. (no cred card) also the site gives you some free vids to watch for the BASIC (basics)

Try right-clicking on your 3ds max icon, going to proprieties, comp. , and select run program as administrator and deactivate desktop composition (I'm sorry if those aren't the exact options 'cuz I'm on a Vista of a different language, but it'll be close enough)

what i do now is use Pixologics Z-Brush2 and import-export to 3d max now, u can adjust the poly count in Z-brush very easily and create very very complex models, and do all ure lil modifications in 3d max, i love these 2 programs. may start using Maya soon. need more cash
