Just as soon as this show hit the airwaves, it seemed to fizzle out after only four seasons. The fifth season was just a season of going through the motions. I remember seeing a TV Guide article where they asked, "Is it too late to rev up Miami Vice?" This was in '88 after the fourth season. I remember the fifth season just seemed to be going through the motions.
