Based on how god awful the chicago music scene is, I think this ordinance is probably a good idea.

I for one would like to see less posers, pretenders, precious hipsters, angry dikes, half-hearted whiners and indie junk peddlers.

nobody knows how to write a song anymore, or play in a band hardly. bring on this ordinance.

Another example of the People's republic of IL! Small venues squeezed out! Why would any independent band want to go downtown and play? Chicago likes to promote itself as an International City?! ...Small clubs with local/traveling acts IS Chicago!
