Actually guns are in the Mount&blade files but not used in the game.

That's not possible, the game was based on feudal times, and even has a fuedal system. Plus, you can tell that ALL the guns are remakes of crossbow, simply super fast bolts, and many at times..

yeah, there was a musket and flintlock in the same container that the strange armor and sword are in from the very old beta versions but its nowhere in the game but it's still in the files.

um yeah quick memo this mod has been hyped for nearly a year with no beta testing they dont have a release date and for the record its the seventh of july dont know what they call "close to release" but i would figure its not any closer than before i can tell you the majority of ongoing mods died out and will never be released. I will say that i truly hope that they are seriouse the mod looks great.
