it kinda does remind me of them... according to wikipedia, Falling up is comparable to Linkin Park and Incubus, and Adema and Linkin Park have very similar sounds, so i see how it reminds you of Adema...

More or less, you could read "religion" as "legalism" or "duties"...to which Jesus spoke against...because "duties" with poor motives are what makes the hypocrisy.
