2 ) io ho una panda 900 hobby e vorrei fare la stessa cosa, ma usando la trazione integrale e montando un turbo sul motore originale. Si può fare o esplode?

@TeamLoquendoPizzo Ciao, si l'auto è omologata; coi soldi puoi far tutto, puoi fare anche la tua macchina a trazione integrale. Per il turbo puoi fare anche quello, ma se il tuo motore nasce come aspirato ci devi fare moltissime modifiche, non è che metti il turbo e basta, ci son tanti componenti da aggiungere o modificare o appunto rinforzare per evitare rotture.

@TeamLoquendoPizzo se sei bravo non ti esplode... il motore della panda è molto resistente, ma ovviamente non devi fare l'esagerato che ci monti una turbina che va oltre il 1 bar, ce ne metti una da 0.8 max... ma comunque per avere più coppia non ti conviene la turbina (immagino che sia per la coppia nella trazione integrale) ci sono un sacco di pezzi che ti permettono di avere molta coppia senza rovinare il motore... o meglio senza rovinarlo troppo

@akosiCoco The short wheelbase is not good for drifting, this one doesn't have the electronic differential which makes drifting even harder.

@yalolol I read on the italian 500 owners community, i think that you can find the news on Google. Also, the US Abarth will be much different from the european version, our stock has 135hp, the american will have 175hp with a different turbo, same power of mine :)

btw, there a lot of tuners here in italy that made some 500 @220hp or 250hp.. (and it's not that expensive to do).

@iiEnIgMaii Well it depends, because if you go over 200hp on the 500 you need to change alot of componens, like the brakes, suspensions, intercooler, injectors, turbo and maybe the clutch, you need also a new downpipe, ECU upgrade and other things. Trust me, if you want to reach 230 or 250hp you have to spend alot of money. Even with little mods you can reach 180hp which is the limit for the stock turbo, this car is light and with 180hp you can really have alot of fun with it.

Unfortunately sticking a massive turbo on such a small engine to get the power has resulted in hideous turbo lag. So much lag that the drift cannot be kept up without the car bogging down. Great concept, poorly executed. Something like a twin scroll turbo would solve a lot of issues or just simply fit a smaller turbo. Sure, power will be sacrificed but ultimately it will be a much faster, more drivable car.
