There's a story that when Menuhin did this with Glenn Gould, he crammed overnight to learn the piece. after hearing this, I can honestly say that Menuhin's performance was little more than a reading, and all of the subtle harmonics in the piece sound feeble and weak in his performance. Never knew Repin like Schoenberg. Thanks for posting!
