Depends on where you live and your states emissions standards. Factory TRD SuperCharger is going to be reliable, comes with a full warranty. Turbo has the ability to add an intercooler, but you will have to deal with tuning the turbo probably with an aftermarket ecu..like the AEM. I have over 156,000 miles with the TRD SuperCharger no real issues, except pinging, due to low octane in California Premium Gas
Aside from the rare TRD supercharger for the 1MZ-FE, what else did you put on it. You're welcome to send me a message since it's more reliable than posting comment replies. Thanks!
Everyone has an off day, I can relate to the SVO; even my Tacoma was having its worst running times that night. Usually I will run in the mid to low 9s in the 1/8th mile.
because you don't expect it. I now own this Camry and there are alot of people get spanked including 2008 mustang GTs. I know that it doesnt handle very good around corners but in a straight line its awsome. This was my Dads car and when he passed away i had the chance to aquire it and i did.
my mom had a Toyota Camry 2001 real fast

It's a TRD SuperCharger for the v6 Camry and Solara. Call your local dealer or TRD Direct.

That must have been a stock out of tune 84' svo. They only put out 175 hp. For 400 bucks they run 8 sec 1/8th mile runs.

Something was up with the SVO. A good running and well driven one is capable of mid to high 14s. 11.04 in the eighth is pretty bad.

It's a 2002. That night was my worst times ever. Slipping Super Charger belt. I usually run in the mid 9s and lower.

Same reason people put crap on a Ford Focus or Honda Civic..because they make it and there is a market for it.

Im just wondering why you would add a supercharger to a camry.
