Btw , when i was 13 i just tried 24 kg too to show off and i did 4x with both hands and than 2 years later (Now) i am almost professional kettlebell lifter and i am going to upload a video where i try to lift all kind of stuff ..... (16 kg , 24 kg , 32 kg)...
what is safe? is safe a specific number or just a perception?
he trains 4-5 days a week using 12kg and 16kg kettlebells in timed set protocol. he wanted to see how far his strength levels had progressed from all his hard work. this was the result.
he has been lifting for over 18 months and has never been injured. i worry about him more when he skateboards and plays ball at school-two things he has gotten injured from.
awesome effort!

This is inspiring! I've completed the ROP with the 24kg bell. I've been leery about jerking my 32kg bell but I think I'll give it a try now.

It looks like you guys always going into a hollow back. I wonder if this is safe? What do you think?

Thoracic kyphosis = normal
Lumbar lordosis = normal
All perfectly safe and anatomical. Very healthy long term as well.
Lifting ~1/2 bw OH is no big deal if you are mobile and coached safely.
Nice work Nococa!
