its way to complicated. you should teach how to play the right hand all the way through and then do the left hand.

@zoeimmi01 it's easier to teach a measure at a time and the hands together because if you do one hand then entire way through without learning what the other hand is supposed to be doing, it's much, much harder to coordinate your hands in the long run. You get caught up in your hands separately instead of concentrating on them both at the same time. it's so much easier.

The original by Journey is in E, and the bass is almost right. And the piano at the beginning for the right hand would be B+E then B below middle C, changing to B+F# and B, back to BEB then A+C# A. :D

You guys are lucky to have a guitar/music store near you like Guitar Center, you might be able to pick up the Journey Sound-book with the sheet music of all their songs. This song came out in the 1980's and was available as sheet music then.

That's good, but you're missing a chord. There's two progressions played twice per verse. The first time you play the progression, it's E, B, C#m, A.. Then the second time it's E, B, G#m, A, then goes back to the both progressions are played twice per verse
