10/10, this movie is a classic. It will be known for like, ever. The english dub is wrong, its bad and, well it doesn't disgrace the movie, but it just ruins the authenticity of it, so yeah. Just watch the Korean movie with the english subtitles. :)

If you liked Old Boy, watch the rest of the Vengeance Trilogy. Sympathy for Mister Vengeance is crazy. The end is amazing. And Sympathy for Lady Vengeance is a disturbing but only because it makes you question your own values and you ability to really follow through with those values when given the opportunity to display them.

1) The Good, the Bad, the Weird - humorous and lots of action. The ending totally caught me off guard and blew me away.

2) Sword of the Stranger - Anime. Wow. This anime became my favorite anime movie of all time, and I'm a fan of Ninja Scroll and Princess Mononoke.

3) Battle Royale - Must see. The japanese schoolgirl Gogo from the Kill Bill Vol. 1 movie was cast because of her role in this movie.

4) Dororo - Think Inuyasha live action.

If you liked Oldboy and are a fan of these types of movies like I am, I recommend you watch "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" and "Lady Vengeance." Oldboy is actually considered part of a trilogy, the 2nd part. First, is Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy, and then Lady Vengeance. In the beginning of Oldboy, one of the characters is from Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance which is why people think these 3 are a trilogy. They're all directed by Chan-wook Park which also leads to this assumption.
