hey what batter head are you using on that I have the same drum I am using a Remo CyberMax Head for the batter or top head and a Remo Ebony Snare Side head.
since you were a freshman then, I am sure you know this now, but make sure you don't take your ring finger off the stick man. If you have to use a good old trick, stick a quarter there and dont let it fall. it does wonders all around. Good job though very good playing.
First of all funkblaster, you don't "win" these kinds of solos....you get rated, gold, silver, bronze or participant...I got a gold, so no I didn't win, I just got a gold

The camera was distroting the sound so it was hard to tell whether it was the drum that sounded bad or you but other tjhan that it was quite good.
