  • Excellent video! Solid technique. Looked Similiar to the krav maga technique. I am not a fan of the krav self defense, but do believe their gun take away stuff is pretty solid. Thanks for sharing!

  • Practice Practice Practice. That's how you get as good. It seems illogical or down right crazy to take a weapon like that, but if you can do it and do it well that means you live and the other guy doesn't, Jager is FANTASTICALLY FAST! that means he practices a lot! that is the only way to get good at this :) again as tac-tips go this one is really good

  • I just wanna learn this to look badass infront of friends LOL. Great vid though hopefully I never need to do this to someone.

  • Prrt!

  • are you gonna show a vid of this drill with the bad guy with a slinged weapon on?

  • Anyone else notice that when he did it the final time (around 1:17) that the muzzle of the rifle chips the paint off the wall? lol

  • You should do the drill where you keep taking the weapon from each other. You take it, he takes it back using same technique and so on. Good job.

  • Bang !!! AAAAH I'M DEAF !!! lol

  • It's funny that my first reaction was thinking what about slings....I thought too fast :P

  • hahahaa is the scan 360 for witnesses? haha

  • @jzrdw No its to see the bad guys friends as they try and sneak up behind you.

  • The helper was just smiling like "damn, he's good" when Jager got the gun. I love these videos and hope you keep doing more.

  • you put a mark on wall lol

  • He's fast as hell.

  • I am a fan of this guy.Glad, I discovered him

  • Nice. Very useful for aspiring soldiers like me.

  • I would suggest anyone interested in these topics pay attention. Jager is old school, just like me. We do things differently..... like not worrying about buring our hands when its our life or theirs on the line. You kids out there need to either listen up, or go back to your video games. This is real life.

  • Ha ha... i like this one cause he said some viet at the end. Which I am!

  • brrt

  • I will be honest these defence techniques look good on camera but im yet to meet a person who would point a gun at you from that range without already blowing your legs off.

  • @sexymalcom1970 Thank you for your opinion. The fact that you are still talking and able to write suggests you have not met anyone willing to blow any part of you away... no offense but your comment is a bit closed. Please enjoy the tips and keep an open mind... no one is telling you they are the end all to be all... just a free service :)

  • @operationsmedia SARCASM lol

  • @operationsmedia Dude.... I'm imagining if you are taking it away you have already not been in a firefight and shooting. If you have ever fired a weapon system like that or anything that shoots bullets out of a metal barrel you would realize the friction makes it so hot even touching the forward sight burns your hands and melts skin it is so hot. Have fun getting a grip on that thing :)

  • @fetalembryo Hey fetal... thanks for the words. You choose whether take a burn or a round. Countless times this very method has been used to kill infidels, or prep them for beheading. When in a fight the decision to act or be acted upon is ALWAYS yours.

    with respect,

    Jager

  • @operationsmedia I live in a third world country and you get aimed at like this often at that range.

  • Uhmm... The barrel would be so hot your hands would melt away. @operationsmedia

  • @fetalembryo a couple shots wouldnt make the barrel of a shotgun or assualt rifle hot enough to severly burn your hands

  • @fetalembryo What are his hands made out of, wax? Seriously, the amount of time your hand is on the barrel will not burn them too badly, hands should be immediately shifted to the foregrip and grip or stock. Like OM said, getting a burn beats being killed, you can heal from a burn, maybe not 100% but compare that to being killed... dead is dead, there is no coming back. And if you have gloves on, which many operators/soldiers wear... whats the fuss?

  • @operationsmedia

Jager, I love you. No homosexuality intended.

  • @fetalembryo I'd take the skin burns over a bullet to anywhere on the body. Plus Adrenaline will put off the pain till later.

  • @fetalembryo you OBVIOUSLY have never really fired a weapon then touched it afterwords. ive put 3 mags through an M4 and grabbed the barrel. nothing more than an "oh shit, thats kinda warm"

so stop trying to act like you know what your talking about , theres no way in hell your getting your front sight hot enough to melt your skin without first melting your barrel or your chamber

  • @fetalembryo Sorry but I'm rather but aloe very on my hand all night than get killed.

Maybe if you valued your life you'd take a 1st degree burn over being killed.

  • @fetalembryo Operators wear gloves, #1. #2 as op said, take the burn or bite the bullet, yes I know this vid is old.

  • @fetalembryo on a practical point of view most guys wear gloves during an op. so if you do this move the risk of getting a burn isn't that much.

  • Thanks for the tips.
