Effexor is very hard to stop taking, I was on it for over 4 years and stop taking it before TTC even though Dr told me it was safe durring pregnancy and had a cousin who kept taking it durring her pregnancy with no complicating. It was something I felt I had to do. I am never going back on that drug. I could never take that risk. Thank you so much for posting this video.

Heart broken for you. She was one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen besides my own. I'm outraged, you should not have had to go through this. Christian, if you're out there ... I am so sorry for your loss and pray that Indiana is resting in Jesus' arms. I'm enraged, to say the least, at all of this and simply do not have enough space nor words to express my total disrespect towards the FDA and our government who have let both Pharma & Psych industries to continue on w/killing the minds of our fellow Americans and unborn babies at best. This is horrible. I am so sorry. I don't know what to myself as I believe I am about 4 months pregnant and on 300mg of effexor. Missing one pill is so hard and it's going to be scary going off this so fast. I wish I knew before I took it all of the horrible side effects. Believe it or not a lot of doctors don't know. My mother who is a physician's assistant had no idea that it's so terrible to come off of. All she's heard is wonderful things about it. I had to fight with her over the truth

there is a group called the citizens commission for human rights who are fighting these laws to stop the mothers act. Go to their webisite and find out for yourself how you can fight back. The pharma companies need to be taken out. There are many class action suits against these guys pending specifically Eli Lily and we will take out the source. I am so mad at MDs who prescribe meds w/o knowing the adverse reactions to fetal growth and development . Not just MDs, pharmacists, pharm reps & clinicians are also guilty. Ms. Christian was told there were no known reactions. Translation= No one knows, yet . Pharm samples are given w/o knowledge of poss. iatrogenic. What happened to giving no deadly drug? My daughter is just quitting effexor xr and early in pregnancy. She is having horrible withdrawal so Docs say just take it. Thank goodness she is committed to the baby and will stay away from chemicals. I wish doctors were responsible for the outcomes of the meds they prescribe. Christian, I'm so sorry for your needless loss - thank you for shedding light for others to hopefully avoid a similar tragedy.

OMG how terrible. I was on Effexor for three months during my first pregnancy (but I didn't know I was pregnant) and my doctor pulled me off IMMEDIATELY. Luckily my daughter turned out ok. My second pregnancy (since the benefits for me outweighed the risks) I was on safer meds (and not on large doses) and my son came out just fine. I didn't want to take ANYTHING during either pregnancy but I had to. RIP little angel....I am so sorry this happened.
