Revotes could have been held in both states, to "be fair" to Obama, even though he removed his own name from the ballot. Hillary Clinton favored revotes and even offered to help pay for the administration of it. State legislators requested Obama sign onto any revote but he wouldn't. Since there was no revote, and the original election was certified by the state, that is the election that counts. You were wrong about the ballot, think what else possibly? The MI/FL quandry won't be solved because it falls very clearly on political lines: Obama people don't want the contests to count, Clinton people do; that's basically the whole story. I'm all for a revote, but the contests as they were shouldn't stand because Obama wasn't on the ballot in Michigan (which he had a very good chance of winning under normal circumstances). The Florida vote is a little shakier, and i wouldn't mind if it counted as it was because A) Hillary would have won in the first place and B) it was a legitimate primary with all names on the ballots even though many potential voters didn't show up because they thought it wouldn't count.

My opinion being from Michigan. Obama had a choice, leave his name on the ballot or remove it. It's not like Hilary was the only one on the ballot in Michigan and Florida, there were others. Far short of Obama being caught, say, in some political scandal on the level of molesting children, Obama's on his way to the nomination.
