Short answer: No. You can trigger guitar sounds, but you will get far superior results using modeling software if you want to recreate guitar sounds using a guitar controller. There is no existing technology that can translate the nuances of your playing into the crude 8-bit control range of most MIDI controllers. Try the VG-99.

Can you trigger sampled guitar sounds...like those cool beatles guitars in East West's Fabfour?
How well would they track...would they capture all of the slides, bends and vibratos?
How does bends, slides and vibratos track on regular synth patches?
