My favorite thing about Warners movies is that the exact same sound effects are used in the cartoons. The splash and car explosion sound effect are sounds I've heard countless times in Warner cartoons.
Why did'nt Buzz brake or pull off his jacket? He was to busy kissing his ass GOODBYE ! They both waited to long to jump, and to cut it that close did'nt allow enough time for errors. Looks like Jim would have jumped even sooner but he waited longer for Buzz to jump. He could'nt tell that Buzz was in DEEP SHIT with his jacket hooked around the door handle. Besides Judy developed the HOTS for Jim later on in the movie. So Buzz was permanently COCK BLOCKED !

they called it "chickie", watch the movie. everyone's fully aware that it's a "chicken run". if you need more proof, watch the scene where he's knife-fighting right before this one.
0:10 Holy f*uck! No CGI at the time, so I assume he really did the stunt. The shot is probably accelerated a shade, though.
