despite all her scandals, i can still see that her efforts to improve and boost the philippine economy have been fruitful, 7.something% last 2007. although its effects may not have been felt, it surely is keeping a strong-enough buffer for the economy's safety against the US recession.

i did not like c. aquino in any way, but i believe arroyo is doing a better job than what aquino did.

i was living in the philippines during that time, and i can say, those figures add up. i am sure also that we will feel the PHP devaluation, due in part also because of the world economy's drawback.

there has been evading, and of course, there also has been corruption. but it is unfair to look at the bad things done only, when there is another side of the story to look at.

I, as a Fil-Am, stand firmly and believe against corruption and the distortion of truth, but it is responsibility ...

many issues was evaded that i could bring out,but one that comes so much was the MOA-AD, that fiasco cost many lives,properties,and push our country back to more instabilty-and to claim of not knowing a thng about that matter (while everyone incl. FYI. Our economic stability and progress of GDP and GNP are greater than that of yours. US has been stricken bloodily by world recession, but our state has maintained and has even improved our economic stability.

And racial discrimination should long be gone. Being an american will not put you higher than I am. Should you attain more than I have, it is the duty of the little Davids of this world, to fling the pebbles of truths in the eyes of the blustering Goliaths, and force them to behave!
