it's kinda good but... every bloodrock member lose something after 1972 ...i'm not the ultimate Bloodrock fan i just think that Bloodrock 3 and specially Bloodrock Usa are really impressive and they rocks better than (the already) good Grand Funk... but what happened in late 72 ? ... or maybe they were tired of touring constantly with their 4th lp bein a real disappointement in therms of sales... and the cover did not help i imagine...
@crosscoupled got this right after bloodrock broke up rutledge and pickens were the band i seen L.P.G on the real donn steale show blew me away. and jim i saw at the starwood in L. A. good times R. I.P. nick luv ya.
I drove from Ohio to N. California, down to Arizona and W. Texas and up to Colorado before going back to Californicate. I had made a cassette copy of this LP and had it in heavy rotation the whole time. Unfortunately I lost my copy of the tape and the LP back in 75 or 76. Have looked for it every since.
Actually I just bought this on LP. It's very hard to find, but it's not that expensive at all. Do you want more of lee pickens group? Yeah.. bloodrocks early stuff is really good!
Lee Pickens making a major funk filled fusion rocker of a song with the rest of the "group", great song! Pickens guitar soars through out this gem from "72-73.
I've got the album. I can put it on cd for anyone

@EmilKarlsson
In the meantime, it's available on CD. Re-issued on a small US-american label called MANDALA 280.
