Good morning, do you like sixties? Listen and pod cast my program " great sound of 60' s " on the site plumfm. Greeting and made blooper in rock and roll.
Salut, vous aimez les sixties ? Ecoutez et podcatez mon émission "le super son des sixties" sur plum fm. Salut et faites gaffe au rock'n roll.
I swear, some 60s stuff has this "etherealness" to it that just DOESN'T HAPPEN in any other of rock's epochs. I can't put my finger on what I'm talking about exactly. I mean there's a profundity, a depth.
@gwugluud I know precisely what you mean. And it is hard to actually describe that quality of feeling you're talking about. But it's there...and it has to do with the era and the incredible changes that were going on in the culture at that time. It was this amazing feeling of revolution and endless possibilities. It was a wonderful time to be a teenager in. I felt like the whole world was transforming right in front of me. Beatles, Hendrix, Canned Heat, Ten Years After...it was incredible!
ouah!!!!!! malheuresement super difficile a trouver (le film "riot on sunset trip" en dvd) génial!!! un grand groupe avec "fire escape" et "music emporium"!!!! merci pour cette vidéo!!!
Yes, "Get Away From Here" was written and performed by keyboardist Larry Tamblyn, who also wrote and sang "Mr. Nobody". Visit the Standells official Facebook Page to learn more.
the brother of russ tamblyn. remember tainted love and soft cell? that song and dirty water were both written by ed cobb, who produced the standells. so is there a standells version of tainted love out there somewhere?
Dude, the Beatles weren't the only group or sound from the 1960's. Try to check out other music from that decade than just the Beatles (from all over the world). And this is coming from someone who is also a Beatles' fan (although even the Beatles' realized they weren't the only sound during that decade).
@Yesimustbestupid I'm so very glad you said this. The way the media would have it, it would be just the Rolling Stones, The Who, The Supremes etc. when there were a stupendous number of bands all around the world.
