I think when people make claims that a NASA scientist "who can't be named" made certain claims about some new discovery in our solar system, it largely discredits the entire process of whatever was discovered. I believe that there's other planets containing intelligent lifeforms so don't get me wrong, but when someone uses certain terms so loosely, it greatly undermines the real research that we do know about. The idea here is good though. Please keep searching 4 more evidence.

Besides, I think most people who have for instance just followed lunar missions on TV at least know roughly the distance to the Moon..

I feel that when people truly seek the truth, they should first remove all previous knowledge and accept any and all alternative or new ideas that arise. Everything eminates out of the will of God, however Heaven is a sphere of reality which runs closer to the will of God. And, without knowing the culture of these individuals, you may be getting the absolute wrong interpretation. i.e., if someone thousands of years from sees a text saying, "That girl is mad stupid." they might interpret that the person was referring to an ignorant woman. I think when people make claims that a NASA scientist "who can't be named" made certain claims about some new discovery in our solar system, it largely discredits the entire process of whatever was discovered. I believe that there's other planets containing intelligent lifeforms so don't get me wrong, but when someone uses certain terms so loosely, it greatly undermines the real research that we do know about. Magic, the devil and other things that are mentioned in the Christian bible are metaphor's to describe things that these ancient people's believed in. Satan is another word for evil in the Hebrew bible. Christ means the "King of the Jews."

I feel that when people truly seek the truth, they should first remove all previous knowledge and accept any and all alternative or new ideas that arise. Impossible in today's society and most definitely in most organized religions. The way it is now, they know... period. But further study and more research is needed.

For example, Jesus said this... or Moses said that... is all the debate that they can muster. There is no talk of history or how the world was in these peoples times. There is no discussion of why someone might say this or that and what the true meaning is. It is "you believe in the Bible or you don't." Why can't it be the beginning of a search for more that what the Bible says, but a search for what humanity was trying to say by writing a book like this in that time, in that land?

We are a stubborn and proud race of people and yet we are also so naive. Why let our forefathers bear the burden of writing history when we are, in fact, traveling through history every day. We should focus on the lessons and less on the words. Believe in the ideas and less in the men that thought them. Why is the Bible any more or less received than the Epic of Gilgamesh? This is the first written book from our known history! It talks of a great flood! It speaks of Gods! In a word, why?

quite ironic is that the only thing organized religion argues (about and i think they have a valid argument "scientifically") are the issues surrounding old convictions of geological dating. @jb0433628 The bible should be reinterpreted into modern language cause it is too misunderstood. However if you understand the principles of reality, you can understand every verse without problem. Everything eminates out of the will of God, however Heaven is a sphere of reality which runs closer to the will of God. Earth (The Physical Universe) is "farther" from God, where deception reigns easily and therefore a comfortable home for the devil and his minions. That's all it says.

And, without knowing the culture of these individuals, you may be getting the absolute wrong interpretation. i.e., if someone thousands of years from sees a text saying, "That girl is mad stupid." they might interpret that the person was referring to an ignorant woman. Not so. In today's slang, they are saying she is good looking. King James' version is example of this.

For example: Marc 10:25 "t is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
